News 12/07/2006: Where Are The Gigs???: Gigs are few and far between
for us these days due to our commitment on getting the album done. That being
said, we made our first trek out to NYC. We played the Trash Bar in Brooklyn.
It was a blast. Next time we’ll have to get the whole Whiskey family out there
and represent. As of right now we have no gigs lined up but I’m sure that will
change in the near future. Be sure to keep checking this websites or our
Myspace to find out where you can catch us next.

Locked away in a basement in Waterford, we’ve been working really hard on getting the debut album done. The good news is that we’ve brought in a producer in order to make this the best product we can make it. The bad news is that it’s taking even longer than expected. We appreciate all your support and anticipation for this album. The progress is slow but it’s good. You won’t be disappointed. Delta Whiskey Needs Your Help: One of the biggest things the band needs these days is press. So if you know anybody who would like to write a review of the band, let us know. Whether it’s someone’s blog, a newspaper, a website, or whatever, we want to see it so we can put together a press kit. We need your help. 07/31/2006: Well Delta Whiskey finally ventured to Hartford's Up Or On
The Rocks for a kick ass gig with Cosmos Sunshine Band and Paper Moon. A blast
was had by all! If you missed it you would be wise to come down to the Oasis
Pub in New London, CT. On August 12th. Prior to the show we will be playing at
Hagapalooza in Uncasville. If you know what it is, be there!
In Other news, Delta Whiskey will be taking the end or August - September off from gigging to wrap up our first full length CD. If you have any album art/title ideas send it to us at info@delta-whiskey.com. We will be doing a photo shoot in early August to get started on our promo pack as well as for the website and CDs. Let us know if you have any ideas! |

| 6/5/2006: Delta Whiskey welcomes bassist Scott Gail into the fold. Scott has proved that he is up for the challenge. Within a week of meeting Scott he played 2 gigs with us then kicked ass at Stash's Cafe on May 27th! We are happy to have him in the Delta Whiskey family. So at the next gig take the time to say hi! |

5/10/2006: Thanks to everyone for their support at our most recent gigs.
We have had a lot going on in the Delta Whiskey camp. The biggest being that
Dan Leblanc has left the band to move on to better things. We wish Dan the best
of luck, he is a great bassist and friend. What this means is we are looking
for a fresh young face to joing the Delta Whiskey Ranks! Anyone interested in
trying out for the bassist position can email us at

We are also looking for summer gigs! Please contact us if you have any gigs in June, July and August that we can fill! Delta Whiskey has some kick ass shows coming up this month! We have been invited back to Stash's Cafe on Saturday, May 27th. For another night of Rock N' Roll! If you didn't make it to the last Stash's gig you don't want to miss this one! We have tickets available for $6. If you would like to pick some up please email info@delta-whiskey.com. Delta Whiskey will also be playing at Brookside Cafe, (presented by The Sound Factory) on May 19th. Saturday, May 20th. Delta Whiskey will be at Plan B Cafe with The Oids and Cosmos Sunshine Band! 3 great bands with extended sets! If you want cheap beer in a Rock N' Roll atmosphere you should check out this show! One last thanks goes out to Greg Hebb from The Oids, who has been kind enough to help us out by sitting in as our Bassist while we re-group and find our new guy. Thanks a ton Greg! |
